Wood n Art b Nice had its origins in the production of wall art both on canvas and art board using acrylic paint, resin and a mix of painting techniques. Our artist has successfully exhibited in Sydney and regional NSW and continues to explore the mediums available in an ever evolving portfolio of artworks.
Spurred on by friends and then friends of friends, the move to working with serving ware had humble beginnings with the production of coasters, lazy susans and placemats all of which was influenced both by our artist’s exploration of pour art techniques and previous forays into furniture restoration with a focus on shabby chic, steam punk and industrial stylings.
Our range of products is now quite extensive and we have utilised Newcastle and Sydney weekend markets (e.g. the Olive Tree Market at Newcastle, Palm Beach, Mosman and Ryde Wharf) to successfully showcase our products and respond to customer preferences. We will continue to utilise the markets to provide potential customers the opportunity to view our artworks first hand but have decided to expand our market to selling through the internet, buoyed by how well our products have fared and the highly favourable comments received.
We are aware that internet trading affords greater flexibility to customers and affords protection to us all in uncertain times. We therefore embrace this form of trading and hope that visitors to our site enjoy the experience.
