Thirroul Seaside and Art Festival

  • Tangara Park Thirroul, NSW, 2515 Australia (map)

I grew up north of Wollongong so it feels like I’m coming home for this weekend which celebrates the seaside, art and family, all of which are reflected in my functional art. My parents are as proud as punch of my body of work and they’ll be there to provide me with unconditional support…. Mum will be the one telling you that my work is the best and is very well priced without ever having seen what others make or how it is priced. Dad is silent and strong and although he won’t get involved in the market he will be ensuring you know he is there should his little girl need protection!

If you’re a local, lucky you. If you’re an out of towner, a trip to Thirroul makes for an ideal day out and, if you can stay the night, better still as the Festival has much to offer as does the local community. The rule for Thirroul is just enjoy and with the art on display, the variety of artisan offerings, the entertainment and the natural seaside and escarpment beauty a good time is all but guaranteed.
