The Norton Street Festa has run since 1986 and is perhaps the largest street festival in Australia. The event is held in the heart of Little Italy.

The event is expected to attract between 180,000 and 200,000 visitors, each of them focussed on sharing in the spirit of this Italian inspired and themed event which consists of around 200 market stalls, multiple stages for entertainment and demonstrations, rides for the young and young at heart, street entertainers and food aplenty.
